i certainly remember the transformer shoe ad! i totally agree with you on the whole boring shitty ads we get over here in australia! i love watching the best ad programs on tv with all the foreign (mostly euro) ads. they have so much more imagination amd creativity, ours are just plain boring.

does anyone else remember seeing some ads for Hewlett Packard on tv here a few years ago? it was probably the bests example of ads in australia ive ever seen.... now that i think about it they probably werent even made here! but at least they showed them!

and the second shoe ad is just plain brilliant! :) very well done.

why on earth would that last one be banned in japan? are they worried that it may portray international football players as better than their "secret service" type folk? oh dear me. its lame when stuff like that goes on! if you dont like it dont watch it i say!

and the ad with the dog literally made me laugh out loud!! heheh

great ads are great fun, they would improve the watchability of normal daytime tv.

on a side note i was always under the impression foxtel had no ads!? or at least like the abc or sbs with a short 5 min break of ads between programs? i do believe sbs has changed now too? to the mainstream ad programming? or am i just on drugs?

i have new sheets for my bed, theyre egyptian cotton 600 count thread! its like sleeping on money! hehe maybe more like fluffy clouds but its nice! hehehe

another long one from me indeed! perhaps im becoming too opinionated! i had better keep an eye out for those govt vehicles!

its late so i must retire!
it has been a pleasure as always and thankyou for the eye candy shaun!

the pleasure dear sir .. is mine. thankyou, like it says in the header ... Ramble On! :)

... Sing My Song ... now ive got LZ on the brain :) 600 count thread sheets ! DUDE ! FoShizzle! , um ... i have no idea what that is but damn it sounds good, and i recon its better than my sleeping bag which i was stuck in for a week while moving :)

to my knowledge yes SBS definatly now has Ads, short and less frequent (only channel i watch free to air apart for the footy) and damn that HP ad did kick some ass back in the day .. the one with the swirlly colours yes no?

2 to mind that kick it, the new Sony Bravia AD with the colour explosions! I LOVE IT!! the second ... cant think. must leave for UNI :)

peace all.

yes swirly colours!

i too love the explosions of paint!

and the bouncy balls down SF road :)

i doubt the bouncy balls ad is real since they could be quite dangerous if there were that many bouncing down such a steep road!

the paint one i have not decided.. it could be done in reality yes? animated would be a very stricky thing to do! either way though, it looks brilliant indeed.

no hard facts but i think from memory both are very real. the SF road i think is nob hill and the sony one was done for real on a vacant lot that was set to be demolished anyway.

research and report back young padwan :)

i have searched and i have found the following

both are apparently sony ads!
http://www.bravia-advert.com/

and hows this, both are real! amazing stuff indeed!
the bouncy ball one was made using "250,000 'superballs' " ... and "special compressed-air cannons shot the balls into the air, while earth moving equipment poured thousands down the street. "

great! for more info on the balls >

and the paint >
http://www.bravia-advert.com/paint/thead/

70,000 litres of paint
250 large film crew
and 10 days
plus 5 days of cleaning by a team of 60 people!!

opertaion... big success!!
:D
