A year ago i didn't know enough to start digging on the topics of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks and building collapse. reflecting back now on our trip to NYC in SEP 2006, i wish we had of gone to ground zero, and opened our eyes and ears a bit. instead Mark and I just stayed away, concerned about the mass public turnout of the grieving community. we didnt want to be apart of that, but now i reflect and think we should have been apart of something bigger.
that "something bigger" was the emergence of the fight for the 9/11 Truth Movement. a gathering of the community and media, pushing through the lies and falsities, seeking answers to questions ... smoking guns that couldn't be hidden.
as we enter 2007, its becoming clear the coverups are starting to unwind and bit by bit the truth cant be hidden any longer. since day 0, Alex Jones and many like him have been at the forefront of this Truth Movement. they should be congratulated in a time where most americans simply believe the Official Story and never think to question the absurdities surrounding that day.
back to my point, i wish i had of made more of an effort to be there on SEP 11th 2006 at ground zero. i should have informed myself more before, i should have cared more, i should have been proud to walk around with other people asking questions, sharing stories, instead of being a typical tourist afraid of a crowd. maybe this will get others out there to start caring, start questioning, before it happens on your doorstep.
in the past weeks a good friend of mine here in Perth has passed me a few DVDs surrounding the 9/11 Truth Movement and other documentaries. titles including "911 Mysteries", "911 In Plane Site", "Loose Change - 2nd Edition" and the Alex Jones production "TerrorStorm". i'll be sure to pass them onto those who would like to check them out. in the mean time, drop your thoughts and comments, click the links and do abit of digging.
lastly a thought. if this 911attack was all orchestrated for an extreme reaction of fear , anger, and hatred. wouldn't the best way to do that be to ENSURE that the towers fell? rather then just the simple disaster of planes hitting buildings. someone once said to me, "This is the JFK assasination coverup of our generation". this time we are armed with open minds, factual evidence, free press outlets, and the will to question.

Early this week an independent researcher, reviewing video archives of the BBC's 9/11 coverage, divulged the discovery of an earth shaking incongruence. BBC reporters announced the collapse of the 47 story Salomon Brothers Building 23 minutes BEFORE the actual sudden collapse . This building, also known as WTC 7, is clearly visible, standing tall, as a reporter gestures to the live view through the window behind her.

yeh i can pass on copies of the DVDs to all, no probs. its important this information gets out, through grassroots methods, as this is not going to turn up on the 6PM quality controled news.
this stuff isnt heresay anymore, its not about "little grey men". its based on factual investigations, and unanswered questions. i wonder how long till we see this become a focus in the mainstream, or the 2007 / 2008 elections.

HA! yeh. im sure mines kinda on that level. 50 years of brainwashing by mass media and societies value structures has its effect. it numbs, and dumbs you down to become comfortable and unquestioning. anything that falls out of the regular day routine is deemed false.
that doesnt mean they cant change.
and it doesnt mean you should stop seeking out those things that YOU deem important. with more facts and more evidence coming to light... the bull cant ignore the red flag forever.

wow, kinda speechless...
it hits home more for me as im reading 1984 at the moment. i never knew it had such a vast influence. i never knew we've been faced with this ongoing struggle between human rights and freedoms, against the Big Brother governments and corporations we create for so long. when will this tug of war end.
Charlie Chaplin - Modern Times, sounds facinating. i can barely comprehend Orwell writing and predating our modern technology and Big Brother society, to have people aware of these issues before then is crazy. the freethinkers have been fighting this so long, yet we still seem to be numbed and dumbed down by the same drums (more so than ever since 911)
yet, as Rich mentioned, i feel we are getting close to something big happening. we are more aware and better equipped than ever before. Viva La Revolution!
thanks for the education on the older music as well. i was aware of Neil Youngs music through Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder. decades on but the themes and issues still resonate on the same wavelengths.
