Shades of 99 ....

The incredible has occured in the space of 24 hours in France, world cup 2007. England, a team beaten to a pulp by the South Africans in their pool match have come from no where to squash the flickering hopes of the gold army in Australia.

Then, as if time just took a shift to 99, France, came up against New Zealand once again and proved, with passion, heart and belief, anything is possible. coming back from a 13 / 3 half time margin the french truely rose to the occasion and the Kiwis flaked like old lead paint in the hot sun.

France will play England in an all-northern semi-final in Paris next Saturday, after dumping the favourites New Zealand out of the tournament 20-18 in Cardiff. but who do they truely have to thank? well lets just say a missed forward pass is all it takes to shift time and history. maybe it set from the start .... having to see the kiwis play in a grey tone strip, they were never ... All .. Black.

a pleasure to see competition and unknown results come to fruition. but that needs to stop with a Springbok victory. :) the green machine now have a different outline to face towards a world cup victory.

Ahhhh….but what about the heart and courage of Fiji, to my way of thinking, the best game of the cup!
Edith Piaf would have sung a song for their courage.
