Well here's a quick update from the road for the first day into San Francisco. Setting off from Perth was a breeze, in actual fact the whole thing has been a breeze. Qantas has improved, and overall ive gotta say the level of service is up from the previous runs I've had with them. The food on the other hand was medium to mediocre at best. With a flight travel session of almost 20hrs, ive finally touched down to relax in San Francisco and nothings really changed here ...
The fog was rolling in as I trecked out on the BART into the city and by tonight, its freezing and overcast. yup typical SF summer. early night tonight. tomorrow is the World Cup final, and trips into town for a bit'o shopping and train ticket purchases.
Oh and you wouldn't believe who I bumped into here ....

Hey ya, massive storms hit Perth last night, and are still raging now with wild wind and rain. All good. Dad got away o.k. for Jakarta, and says he will sms you from there. Have fun and have a crab or some prawns for us at the Crab in on the wharf!! Much love Mom
Glad i didnt get caught in that storm :) probably would of delayed my flight lol. all good here, just relaxing and not rushing to do the usual touristy things ...
can't wait for the two shows coming up. Tell Dad i say gday and hope his trip is fine. won't be able to reach him on my normal number. no global roaming ...
